One of our Masters athletes, Vivienne’s son was a passenger in a car which was involved in a horrific accident on Saturday night. Jack will spend the next few months in hospital recovering from his significant injuries. Please help us to raise money so that Viv and her family can fully support Jack in his recovery. We are hoping to raise funds to assist them with hospital parking, medical fees, loss of income due to the care and support Jack needs to recover. All donations can be placed in the collection box at Twistarz reception. Any small amount you can afford to spare will go a long way to help one of our own.

Huge Congratulations to Lucy today who competed for the first time in over a year at Australasian Gymnastics and Dance Academy (AGDA)! We are all so proud of you - we know it hasn’t been easy coming back from injury after injury - but you did it! Lucy received her Level 9 badge today and came 1st ? in Vault, Bars, Beam and was Overall Level 9 Champion! We can’t wait to see you compete again in May! ?Twistarz Gymnastics Academy is remaining closed Monday 10 March ? We have made the decision to close on Monday the 10th March - with no classes operating. This decision has been made due to the current weather conditions, and due to both our staff and our Twistarz families being affecting by cyclone dmamage, flooding and road closures across the region. Please stay safe during this time and we remain hopeful that all classes will be operating from Tuesday 11 March. Further information about our re-opening will be sent by email and also posted on social media. 2025 Twistarz Starz Invitational

Date: Sunday August 24th

Who is it for: ALL Twistarz Recreational Gymnasts


Dear Twistarz Families,


We are excited to invite you and your children to the 2025 Twistarz Invitational on Sunday August 24th!


Over the past 2 months, your children have been working hard on their Level 1–3 routines, and we’re thrilled to give them the opportunity to showcase what they’ve achieved. This fun and friendly event is a wonderful way to experience the excitement of a gymnastics competition in a supportive environment — a great confidence booster for all involved!


Event Highlights:

  • Every child will perform on each apparatus
  • Ribbons will be awarded for each apparatus
  • All participants will receive a medal and certificate at the end
  • Children will be grouped by class level for comfort and confidence


We hope you can join us in celebrating the incredible effort and progress your children have made. Final session times will be sent out closer to the event date, so please register as soon as possible to help us finalise the schedule.

Registration can be found in the events tab on the customer portal or clicking the link below - please enrol your child into the session of their class name. Entries need to paid and in by the 27th July.
