EMMA MCCOMB

Managing Director/Co-Owner

Emma started out loving the sport of gymnastics as a Gym Mum and this has expanded into co-owning Twistarz Gym. The core values of inclusion, fun, safe and friendly are at the heart of Twistarz as ensures the team are createing a positive club environment for all who come through the doors. 

TIM

Competition Coach

Tim began working at Twistarz in 2023 while his daughter was training in the gym. Tim's communication and coaching style is positive and he is always demonstrating and communicating in a way that works with the gymnasts and assists them to grow!

LACEY

Operations & Competition Program Manager and Head Coach

Lacey began working at Twistarz midway through 2025 and the impact she has made on the gym has been phenomenal. Lacey has years of experience in Coaching gymnastics as well as Cheerleading and Dance and brings with her an amazing depth of experience in assisting people with mental health issues which allows her to really focus on the wellbeing of our athletes. 

ERIN

Recreational Program Manager & Competition Coach

Erin is responsible for Recreational Program and is also one of our valued Competition Team coaches. Erin has been working at Twistarz since 2023 and has slowly taken on more over this time. She is a bright and bubbly team member who is always happy to help out anyone in need.

HANNAH

Coach and Administration

Hannah has recently joined the Twistarz family when she moved to the Redlands from Melbourne. Having started coaching when she was just 13, Hannah has over 5 years experience Coaching and Judging and will be working with our our young gymnasts as they build a solid foundation for their gymnastics journeys.

RENAE

Coach

Renae is an amazing and diverse coach! She coaches our Adults, Tumbling, Competition and Recreational programs! As well as all of this Renae is also one of our resident WAG judges! We are so very lucky to have her as a part of our team!

LOU

Kindergym Program Manager

Lou joined Twistarz at the beginning of 2025 as our Kindergym Program Manager. Lou has been coaching in the Redlands area for many years and we are thrilled she chose to call Twistarz her home. Our Kindergym program is one of the best in the area tahnks to Miss Lou and her wonderful team of Kindergym coaches!

JASMINE

Coach

Jaz was a competitive gymnast who competed upto L7/L8 and she has coached Recreational classes at Premier Gymnastics previously and Twistarz since the start of 2024 and she has recently started coaching in our Competition Program.  

HARMONEE

Coach

Harmonee was also a competitive gymnast and competed up to Level 7.  She started coaching at Twistarz in early 2023. She is currently coaching our Development Athletes and preparing them for competitions.

MYKA

Coach

Myka joined our team in 2023 and has been essential to our growing Kindergym Program. She loves working with our youngest kids and helping them to develop their fundamental movement skills, coordination and social skills.

KERRY

Coach

Kerry joined our Kindergym coaching team in early 2024. Kerry had previously worked at the Y in their Kindergym program and brings a fun and vibrant energy to the classes. The kids love getting dressed up with Miss Kerry to match the class themes!

SOPHIE

Coach

Sophie has been with Twistarz since we opened and is a fun team member who really knows how to engage her gymnasts! Sophie is one of Intermediate qualified coaches who loves to challenge her students to improve week on week and manages to make every class lots of fun.

TAHNIA

Coach

Tahnia joined the Twistarz team in early 2024 and is also a gym mum turned Coach and Judge. Tahnia is coaches our all abilities kids, recreational classes, aerial classes and is also going to be a part of our Early Development Coaching Team in 2025.

LUCY

Junior Assistant Coach

Lucy is our youngest team member joining the team at the end of 2024. Lucy is also one of Twistarz Gym's Senior Gymnasts and is currently a working Level 9 gymnast.

FIONA

Aerials Coach

Fiona started at Twistarz in 2024 and coaches our Aerial team. Fiona is an experienced Aerials coach and in 2025 took our girls to their first Bend the Air competition which they all auditioned and were successfully selected to compete at.
